If the TipTop ECHOZ & Z5000 are anything as good as the ZVERB I just got I'd check those out too.
+1 on the Mimeophon though, clocked or unclocked, frozen or Flipped it can get quite creative. My only critism of the Mimeophon is that the Reverb 'Halo' can get a bit Phaser/Flanger-like so best only used subtly.

I'm looking for a new delay. I alreay own a Microcosm. Very nice delay but not that suited for Eurorack integration.
So I have my eyes on a Qu Bit Nautilus or Beads from Mutable Instruments.
I am looking for rather long delays that can get complex but are able to be simple as well.
Or is there a delay I haven't looked at?
Thanks for you input :)
I am very new to modular. I know Eurorack is 10v based.
My Microfreak puts out gate voltages at 5v or 12v. Right now with the ADSR I have it seems to work.
Should I look for a solution to get it up to 10v? When using an attenuverter I would have 5v at no gate and 10v at gate.
Would I damage something if I would use 12v?
Hi
I want to build my first rack. I have a vage plan what modules I want but I am sure I am forgetting something. Or something is redundant maybe?
The music it should make will be mostly for ambiance, indie game music. A take on modern 8 bit music.
I have a Microfreak for clock gate and note input. As a delay and reverb I will use my Microcosm.
All Befaco will be bought as a kit and I will build it myself.
Here are the things I want think are a good choice:
Behringer Brains
Happy Nerding 3x MIA
4ms Company Passive Mult kit
Make Noise Maths
Doepfer A-145 LFO
Befaco Mixer ( the 4 in 1+/1- out thing)
Befaco Sallen Key Filter BF-22
Intellijel Quad VCA
Befaco Crush Delay v2
Doepfer A-140
Befaco VC ADSR
Befaco Dual Atenuverter
Befaco OUT V3
Id like to hear your opinions! What is missing, what should I add..
Thanks :)
Edit:
I am looking for a mixer modul with around 4 inputs that are panable with a stereo out? I am open for ideas.
I have a feature request. I am 100% new to modular and questions arise. Questions I hope the forum could answer. But I cannot open a new thread because I am a new user. But I cannot contribute anything usefull to other threats because I know nothing. Anything I could write would be "on nice" or "I wouldnt do it that way..but I dont know"
So my request is, new users should be able to open new threads, otherwise a new guy like me will never be able to use this forum..
